Walter Rodney was a highly intelligent, very respectable historian, and he made a very big impact within the black community. He wanted to educate the people on what was happening in the Guyanese government.
I wanted to convey the raw nature of Rodney's activism and efforts, so I hand drew all of the copy related to this project sans the body text. For the cover artwork, I staggered the words on top of one another to represent his efforts and their shortcoming; although he fought hard, it wasn't enough for him to accomplish what he set out to accomplish before his death.
